Airport Assistance Services

Fast Track Assistance

With security and check-in lines known to run long here, especially during Entebbe’s busiest periods, we get you through quickly rather than waiting in the general queue.

Meet and Greet

Your greeter meets you right at arrivals and guides you through the terminal, including any changes from the ongoing phased opening of the new passenger building.

Lounge Access

We arrange entry into the Karibuni Lounge (open 24 hours, airside in the International Departures Terminal) or the Eagle and Mango Tree Lounges, even without matching membership status.

VIP Airport Assistance

For a fully private experience, we coordinate a dedicated TSA checkpoint, a private living room, chef-prepared meals, and seamless transport straight to the aircraft.

Family & Special Needs

Entebbe offers wheelchair assistance and accessible facilities throughout — our team arranges any support you need well in advance.

Baggage & Porter Help

We handle your bags from check-in to gate, or claim to your ride, across the terminal.

Transit Assistance

For onward connections, we manage the move between the international and domestic sides of the airport and any rebooking support if your schedule shifts.

Layover & Connection Tips

  • Arrive early — historically, security and check-in lines here can run long, and the ongoing terminal transition adds an extra layer of unpredictability.
  • The new 20,000 sqm terminal is being commissioned in phases through 2026, so double-check which building your flight uses rather than assuming the old layout still applies.
  • The Karibuni Lounge is open 24 hours, located airside in the International Departures Terminal near the boarding gates, with showers available — accessible via pay-at-the-door, prepaid passes, or membership programs.
  • DragonPass is generally the better bet for lounge access here — Priority Pass coverage is more limited at Entebbe compared to DragonPass.
  • Free Wi-Fi is available in the main concourse, with an internet café in the Arrivals area if you need a more reliable connection.
  • A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for entry into Uganda — carry it with your travel documents.
  • Café PAP, landside before passport control, is worth a stop for high-quality Ugandan coffee and fresh pastries if you’re meeting someone or arriving early.
  • Most restaurants and lounges are concentrated airside, after security — plan your dining around that if you’re killing time before passport control.
  • Recommended minimum layover: around 2.5–3 hours given the ongoing terminal transition and historically slower processing times.
  • Nearby hotels like Protea Hotel by Marriott and Airport View Hotel offer shuttle service, a solid option if you have a long overnight layover and want proper rest.
